SUMMARY:Learning You Can Prove: Moving Beyond Completion to Evidence
DESCRIPTION:For years\, workplace learning has relied on a simple\, and flawed\, proxy for success: completion. The course was launched\, the module was viewed\, the box was ticked. But none of that answers the question that actually matters:\n \nDid it work?\n \nIn this session\, learning architect and xAPI specialist Nicola Mastrorilli explores what it takes to move beyond completion data and toward something far more meaningful: evidence of learning.\n \nAt the core of Nicola’s approach is the XP² Method \, a design framework that rethinks how learning experiences are structured\, delivered\, and measured. XP² maps learning across macro\, meso\, and micro arcs\, ensuring that every interaction contributes to a broader\, intentional learning journey. It combines Self-Determination Theory (motivation)\, Bloom’s Taxonomy (cognitive progression)\, and\, critically\, alignment to real business outcomes\, not vanity metrics.\n \nThis means learning is no longer something you deliver and hope works. It becomes something you can design to be measurable from the start.\n \nSupporting this\, Nicola has developed a series of xAPI facilitation card decks that make the XP² Method tangible\, allowing designers and trainers to physically map\, prototype\, and reason about learning experiences. These tools bridge the gap between theory and practice\, turning abstract design principles into something you can actively build and refine.\n \nUnderpinning it all is xAPI\, not as a reporting feature\, but as the mechanism that captures meaningful evidence: what learners actually do\, decide\, apply\, and achieve. The result is a shift from tracking activity to capturing proof.\n \nWe’ll also explore where this thinking is heading: toward xAPI-native\, headless learning ecosystems that treat organisational knowledge as something to be captured\, distilled\, and continuously improved. not just delivered and forgotten.\n \nView the Webinar below\nAnd follow https://xapi-tools-production.up.railway.app/ to checkout the tools from the webinar

SUMMARY:xAPI - The language of the Total Learning Architecture
DESCRIPTION:Bringing the promise of an integrated Total Learning Architecture (TLA) is the flow of data between systems.  A key to success is automating the data flow between system to provide a consistent view of learners\, their accomplishment and activities across the course of their careers. \n\nIn this session\, we are joined by Duncan Welder from RISC\, Inc tol discuss the benefits of an integrated learning ecosystem and explore case studies where a rules and pattern matching engine uses xAPI to drive enterprise applicationsmany of which don’t natively use xAPI.

SUMMARY:Federate xAPI: Bring HLA Simulation Data into the xAPI Ecosystem
DESCRIPTION:Join us as Shelly Blake-Plock from Yet Analytics walks us through Federated xAPI\, an Apache 2.0 open source HLA federate that transforms simulation activity into Experience API (xAPI) data\, without requiring any changes to existing simulation federates. \nBy adding Federate xAPI to a federation’s Runtime Infrastructure (RTI)\, teams can configure exactly which events they want to capture and start emitting standards-based xAPI data for analysis\, reporting\, and interoperability. \nIn this session\, we’ll take a close look at: \n\nWhat Federate xAPI is and how it plugs into existing simulation architecture\nThe interoperability problem it solves for distributed simulation environments\nThe impact this can have on multinational and joint simulation-based training operations\n\nWhether you’re working in defence\, aviation\, or any field relying on distributed simulation for training\, this is a chance to see how xAPI can bridge the gap between simulation activity and meaningful learning data\, without re-engineering what’s already in place.
